Working with Portal
Portal is our universal visualization tool. It lets you interact with the data across all known worlds, both manually and with the help of the Prorok Agent.
It's useful to know the basics of working with Portal, even if you're primarily interested in custom visualization layers.
Everything is a view
Most of what you see in Portal is organized into tiled windows called views.
Views can can be rearranged at will, both manually and programmatically, allowing for extreme flexibility when applying layouts based on particular visualization needs.
Workspaces and projects
A collection of views organized into a coherent layout is called a workspace. Portal lists all the workspaces on the sidebar, allowing for quick access and manipulation.
At the highest level there's also a concept of a project. Each project holds it's own collection of workspaces, making it easy to switch at will.
Both projects and workspaces are live-synchronized with the platform, so you don't have to worry about loosing any progress. Importantly, you can also share your workspaces with other users.
Deep AI integration
Since we support programmatic access to workspace layouts, Prorok AI agent is able to generate and rearrange workspaces as well. While still uncommon across GUI applications in general, we find this capability incredibly useful.
Workspace layouts are persisted on the platfrom, allowing for
